A life long passion for art and architecture propelled Matthew Leverone’s commitment to a career in design, leading him to establish Leverone Design Inc. in 2006. Based in San Francisco, Leverone is quickly becoming known as one of the Bay Area’s top interior designers.Metropolitan Home’s “Designs Rising Stars” named Matthew a 2009 runner up. In 2010, he was awarded California Home + Design’s Showcase House Design. His distinctive projects range from numerous Northern California homes to a Hawaiian vacation retreat and Manhattan pied-á-terre.

Matthew’s thoughtful approach seamlessly integrates his clients’ needs with comfortable, timeless interiors that retain a fresh and creative edge. His respect for architecture and classic design is evident - as is the energy he puts into every detail, often designing custom furniture for his clients. His versatile work, whether modern or traditional, is always inviting – yet sophistication is never sacrificed.

Originally from the East Coast, Matthew began his design career
25 years ago in New York. After ten years working on high profile corporate, retail and residential projects, he moved to the Bay Area where he served as Senior Project Manager & Design Director at a premier San Francisco residential interior design firm before establishing his own firm. He graduated with a BFA in Interior Design from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania.
